Biography

I’ve been working as a visual artist in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 12 years. I draw inspiration from many places including Mid-century American and Latin music, vintage graphic design and toys, cartoons, comics, Poetry, religious imagery, folk art, cultural anthropology and History.

Led team of artists on Happy Studio game suite: Happy Aquarium, Happy Island, Happy Pets, Zoo Paradise and Mighty Pirates. Duties included asset creation of environment, characters, animation and UI. Managed onsite and offsite artists to the create the look and feel as well as maintain standards on all games in a fast paced environment. As a Senior Artist, I worked on Mobile titles such as Mermaid World, Fish with Attitude, Top Stylist and others.

From initial concept through final execution Iggy worked as a visual designer and art director for a wide variety of creative projects. Worked collaboratively with brand managers to ensure a high quality, on target, art was produced. Responsible for design, storyboarding and animation execution of LeapFrog educational books, packaging and screen based games. Worked collaboratively with Creative Directors, Art Directors and Game Designers from conceptual stage to final product on various titles. Including: Finding Nemo, Ratatouille, SpongeBob and Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends.
