"Oi, I was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil in the late 70's and I've been living in the Bay Area since 1996 where I have worked as an illustrator and designer.

I get inspired by so many things in life... some of the things that really get me going are mid-century Brazilian, American and Latin music, vintage graphic design and toys, cartoons, comics, Poetry, religious imagery, folk art, retro Havaiana, cultural anthropology and history.

My work can be seen in one sense as metaphors for this bananafied jumble, and in another, as what I make out of the sometimes confusing and comical human experience.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife and our little fella, hiking, camping, listening to records, gardening, working on my 68 Chevy truck and sharing good times with family and friends.
